TESTIMONIAL

We hired Diaspora Latina to play at my son's wedding. The band was fabulous,
I can't find words adequate enough. They were excellent in so many respects. And they made it so easy for us which counts for a lot when you're managing a big wedding.
The joint was jumping, as they say. We held it on a property in the hinterland, outside under marquees (do get a hard floor if you're holding it outside as a garden wedding - we hired 6 x 6 metre floor from the marquee people, not that much extra money) because the guests were up and dancing all night, couldn't help themselves, all ages, the music was irresistible. Everyone loved them.
A couple of other things they helped us with which added to wonderful day/evening. The bridal couple asked the band to play a particular tune for their wedding dance, and the band was happy to do that. The other thing was that for a little extra, you might like to have a couple of the band members playing more quiet music early on while everyone is mingling with 1st drinks - we did and it was blissful.
Lastly, they are sensitive to the event. We didn't have any problems like the horror stories some people i knew had experienced with other bands where the bands were tuning up while speeches were still happening.
Parissa (the contact person and vocalist extraordinaire) also arranged the sound guy for us as well, he was great, the sound system was great, we were able to use his wireless mic for speeches and he stayed on with his sound system for music after the band finished (as well as providing sound in band breaks). Parissa made it so easy for us in every respect. Reliable, delightful people and all of them are musicians of the highest calibre as well!! I can HIGHLY recommend them
